I am a wanderlust photographer and writer. An outdoorsy girl with the dog and the Subaru.

I love mountains, bathing in rivers, listening to the sound of the breeze passing through tree leaves, snow, snowboarding, wildlife, rock climbing, hot springs, exploring new places, camping, backpacking and hiking, coffee, sticking up for the underdog, yoga, going for “old-lady walks” with my dog, frozen yogurt, baking yummy goodies, and rescue dogs.

My English BA taught me that I love to read. My MA in Interactive Environmental Journalism taught me that there are some really cool ways to present stories online. I taught myself photography. I used to work as a journalist. Now I spend my weekdays doing communications in the energy efficiency/renewable energy field. It’s the only way to save the planet.

I mostly write about and take photos of all things outdoors and the outdoors life.

This is my dog, Bonnie, the one-eyed wonder.
