Hi there. I'm a California-based photographer and nature lover. I shoot with digital, film (a vintage Rolleiflex that was my dad's) and sometimes my iPhone.

I love mountains, wildlife, dogs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, snowboarding, cooking and baking, gardening, and spending time with my dog, pictured below. Bonnie, aka Bonnie the one-eyed wonder, Bonfire, Bonificent, Bon-Bon, Bono, Bonsai, Bon Temps, Bon Hiver, Snugglebonnie, Little Bonnie Foo Foo, Bonaroo, and Snowbonnie, is my hiking partner and frequent pet model. She hails from a reservation in Colorado, where she mysteriously lost her eye. Many suspect it happened in a bar fight with a coyote. After that a magnificent person found her and brought her to to a really great no-kill shelter, where I found her and snatched her up. She shows up on the blog a lot.

My photos have been used by Patagonia, the U.S. Department of Energy and Plum TV.
